FAQ

Q. What do I need for my first appointment? What should I bring?

A. If you have relevant medical notes, please bring them along. Wear loose, comfortable clothing so that diagnostic and treatment procedures may be performed. If you have any relevant x-rays, scans or reports, that’s helpful, but a lot of this can be considered at a later date - it’s not essential for the first appointment.

Q. What happens during my first appointment?

A. We discuss your medical history focusing on your present issue. We take a detailed case history, consider relevant information, and a diagnosis is formulated and discussed with you. The treatment approach is discussed. Treatment will usually be given on the first appointment. Advice will be given and exercises may be prescribed for the patient to take home with them.

Q. Can I bring a friend or relative?

A. Absolutely, yes.

Q. How many appointments do I need?

A. That varies from person to person and may depend on the problem. We will have a better idea of treatment requirements after the first appointment, as everyone responds to treatment at different rates. By the second appointment we should be able to gauge how many further appointments are needed.

Q. How much does each appointment cost?

A. Costs can depend on length of time of appointment, ACC, and who of our professional treats you. Please check the overview of our clinic services here or contact our clinic manager Luce Stanley on 09 300 6066.

Q. How do I pay for my treatments?

A. We have several ways you can pay: cash in the clinic , Eftpos or internet banking.

Q. I cannot make my appointment, what should I do?
